Plant bargains at Homebase

I went to Homebase yesterday to buy some gardening items, taking advantage of the 15% day. They had lots of plants, tubs and hanging baskets reduced to half price - they were alongside full price plants of the same species and looked in the self-same condition. I got boxes of 12 Viola reduced from £3 to £1.50 and single Campanula reduced from £3 to £1.50. Plus another 10% off (not 15% as they had already been reduced!). I don't know why they were marked down as they weren't in the usual half-dead state that you usually find reduced plants! I thought I got a bargain!
