Yeah I wanna know too... where do I buy a copy of Oi !!!!!!? Sounds we could get some useful tips :rotfl:Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

I borrowed it from the library. A suggestion for an after dinner party was to put cocktail sticks through the holes in your grater and then dropping glace cherries down. You then have to try and remove the sticks without the cherries dropping down!!! The authors say they're most likely to be found in the reduced aisle in Iceland!! Does that sound familiar!! It's not a serious tome!
Better not post more as don't want to get into trouble:D

Any tips on using the last bits in a tube.
Even more maddening is the amount caught under your nails when stuff comes in a pot. £10 q uid on a jar of moisturiser and you get celophane, a box, and a double skinned jar which doesn't leave you much product as it is.
I still try to buy on offers or with vouchers etc but I can't bear to waste it however it was paid for.
Help please..........0 -
Try cutting off the top of tubes of moisturiser etc to get the last bits out. Product will stay moist and usable for a day or two.
Dermatologists all say that simple cheap lotions work just as well as anything more expensive. Anything else and you are just paying for the dreams and the image. Sometimes it's nice to do that, as long as you know that you are wasting your money NOT taking care of your skin. If you like, keep an expensive and nearly empty jar/tube on display but keep the good cheap stuff hidden.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Don't use you finger to scoop it out of the tub, use a cotton bud, wipe it onto your hands and apply to your face, then you wont get a load stuck under your nail. I have long acrylics and this bugged me for AGES before i worked out the cotton bud thing.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

store them upside down for a bit then when you cant get any more out cut the top off and use your finger/cotton bud to get the rest, wrap in clingfilm or a plastic bag to stop the last bits drying out! I do it all the time;)Do what you love :happyhear0

Thanks for some good ideas............
re the cotton bud thing........... I might try to get a few of those plastic coffee stirrers from cafes....... I don't take sugar or milk so they owe me something!!!
Great site this!!0 -
Avon do an eyecream in their Anew range - it's in a small glass pot and comes with a little plastic scoopy thing to get it out with . I've washed and kept this to get moisturiser out of jars with, but I suppose you could use any small plastic scoop sort of thing - a bit like some coffee stirrers!!??0

We slash and scrape tubes as a matter of course, I estimate we get an extra five toothbrushes of toothpaste by doing this and it works with most other tubes too. If you ask your Avon rep nicely she will be able to supply you with some spatulas (free to her and you) for taking product from jars. You should never use your fingers to do this anyway as you contaminate the product left in the jar.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0
