I have my houseplans on a DWG file and would like to see them in 3D. I would also like to be able to add furnishings and colour etc. Is there such software out there that can do a clean transfer from 2D to 3D? If not can anyone recommend a stand alone 3D programme where i would add the dimensions.
Many thanks.

Thanks for your reply Ormus, but i've tried Sketchup free and i couldn't transfer the DWG file to it. It seems to take every other file and i tried converting DWG to JPEG but the quality was awful so i gave up. I have however found this www.plan3d.com which looks promising.0
