Just to clarify, If you come into a one off payment that is NOT enough to clear your debts in full then we would suggest you use that money to clear of as many of the smaller accounts as possible or put it into savings until you have enough to clear the smallest debt.

HOWEVER if you are in a position to permanently increase your monthly deposit then you should do a budget review and increase your payments as necessary.

Hi WONDER Girl, thanks for that, I was under the impression that you couldn't pay off any debtors as any additional payments you could make had to be spread pro rata amongst all

ie. I have 10 debts in total rangeing from £900 to £26K  so your saying if over a year I could get £900 I could pay off that debtor

    Yep,

If you were to make a one off larger payment to us, we would have to divide it amongst all the creditors, this is awkward because A) our system gets confused & B) the creditors want to know why it can't be that big all the time (not that bright, can't cope with "one offs")

So you can either clear one debt at a time, or increase your monthly deposit to us permanently.

preferably the latter as if you have been completely honest on your budget there shouldn't be room to save £900 a year, this is ONLY for one off's. otherwise you need to redo your budget.

Makes sense WG thanks:beer: both me and my partner are self employed and we have just redone our budget based on an average months earning, but when the sun shines (me a car valeter) and the locals get "jiggy with it" ;) (she runs a pre-school) we may find the extra to pay off the lowest denominator :T

well that depends what your dog's name is, if it's called Loulou or Sarah than it's not too bad, but if your dog's name is bumfluff or pooface than that would make me feel better ;):p

    Always my luv :o

See that's not so bad at all, Raven is a Super Hero Teen Titan with groovy powers, hardly an insult at all.....

Not so bad, but they really don't look anything like each other. One is really big and furry, the other has four legs and a wet nose :rotfl:

I really should be able to get my only daughter's name right
