    Hi

Try https://www.macoman.co.uk for hosting, very good, so good I have moved all my sites to them.

I've always used netweaver.co.uk - because it's cheap (20 quid for the smallest package, 10mb) and you get PHP/mysql plus rather good control over your account. This is pretty much all you need for a small companies website.

It would be nice if the people who did the post-deletion could post an explanation so we don't repeat mistakes
    that's not cheap..

I pay about £30 - get full php/mysql/unlimited pop/unlimited domains hosted and subdomains.. over 400mb space and 12.5gb transfer!! Oh and an included .com/.net/.org domain.. now that is cheap!!

The advice about photography is very true - getting someone to take good quality photographs can make a big difference - for stock images try stock.xchange - try googling for it - it's a free stock images site. :) I've been meaning to put some of my own stock images up there as I've used it quite a bit, it would be nice to give something back.
  • Can anyone recommend someone who can do the whole lot? Ecommerce website design with hosting, email address, shopping cart, support - everything - someone good, trustworthy, not too expensive and professional?
  • Looking over the site the biggest problem is that you use frames, therefore search engines don't see all of your site. Just try:

    site:https://www.qainspections.co.uk

through google and you can see they only have one page.

No pages in search engines = no traffic.

IMHO the current site is never going to get decent organic traffic. Get a decent HTML sitemap and maybe it will.

I am currently having my own ecommerce website designed. As i advised someone earlier today i would definitely recommend who i am using. It is a business that is dedicated to helping small businesses so the costs are really low. I have used him for business cards aswell and they are fantastic quality. I don't understand much about website etc but i have looked at sample ones produced by this business and they are really good. I have spoke to him on the phone and he is willing to work with you to ensure you get the design that you want. I will PM you the details. Hope this helps. Let me know how you get on.
