Going to live in Spain and would like to open a joint bank account. Is there a bank in UK that has branches in Spain which I could use just as easily in UK as well as in Spain?

Santander/Abbey, a lot of banks any way have 'partnerships' with other UK banks, when my nan was in america, her bank had a little love in going on with barclays.

You can transfer from Halifax UK accounts to Banco Halifax Hispania accounts without any charges.
