Does your local MP deserve re-election?

There's been much doom and gloom and quite a bit of fury on here recently about MP's - for obvious reasons (cheating, lying, fiddling etc.
).
It's got me thinking, as apart from when my current MP was first voted into parliament and was getting used to the novelty of it, I cannot recall ever having a local MP who was much use.
However, there MUST be some decent local MP's who do a lot for their constituency. Surely all the apples in the barrel aren't rotten? Let's hear something positive about our elected representatives!
They can't all be bad.
Does your local MP deserve re-election? Who is it, and why?

Nothing is foolproof, as fools are so ingenious!

At the last election my MP was Jezza Brown of the LibDems, I would have voted for him again, a decent bloke.
Now due to boundary fiddling .........sorry changes..... I have Ian Liddell-Twitface-Grainger who is a Conservative..................and he definately doesn't deserve being re-elected !!!!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
We haven't got a local MP. He has stood down due to the expenses scandal, but still takes the wages. Waiting on the end 60k payment I guess.
So no MP at the moment.0 -
Sounds like a job for you !!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0

My MP is Michael Gove
Michael Gove 'flipped' homes: MPs' expenses
Michael Gove, a front-bench ally of David Cameron, spent thousands on furnishing his London home before “flipping” his Commons allowance to a new property in his Surrey constituency, and claiming £13,000 in moving costs.
From Daily Telegraph 11/5/2009
I won’t be voting for him never have but I bet he is still my MP next year0 -
My MP opened a constituency office in our village, but 'negotiated' a 6 month rent free introductory period.
Amazingly this just happens to take him beyond a May election date, how fortuitous.
So if he gets re-elected I look forward to seeing a drop in his expenses claims....but I'm not holding my breath.
I can't comment on his value though; we rarely see him.0 -
I will be voting for mine, he is a Tory.......0

The last constituency I was in has Dr Evan Harris and he's ace.
the mp for the current constituency is not someone I care much about so not sure what to do.0 -
my MP (Martin Salter, Reading West) has the air of the used-car salesman about him, and he does like local publicity, but at the same time he has come across as a very hard working MP. And hasn't been caught up in the expenses scandal, either. He's done loads of public meetings, surgeries etc and has connected with his constituents. He's standing down this time, though.
My big problem is (and always has been, with the 'first past the post' system) the lack of information/polling data so that I can decide which way to tactically vote. It's like playing roulette!0
