I don't and it seems to work OK.

In answer to another question above - Carsource point normally show within 10 mins - price runner and kelkoo show the next day. Points turn from pending to awarded after about 6 weeks.

I clear my cookies 5-6 times a day, but I do use the net a lot and a few cashback sites.

Just to add to the confusion I thought I'd mention one more thing about how I use rpoints:

Rpoints offer a 'highest cashback promise' (under FAQs on quicklinks on the left hand side). As I already use rpoints and pigsback, I don't want to confuse myself by getting involved with any other cashback sites, but quidco tend to offer a higher percentage cashback (because they charge a fiver a year, whereas rpoints is free, I guess). So every time I buy something on rpoints, I compare the cashback with quidco and make a claim (very straightforward, just click on the link).

I'm not very consistent with doing the free clickthroughs, but I do manage to do almost all of my internet shopping through rpoints and in about 10 months I've amassed nearly £70 so it's well worth it (and I've only been doing the quidco thing recently, too).

Oh, and you get an extra 1% if you withdraw £100 at at time.

Thanks for the thread Edna. I for one have been a member for some time, but never really looked over the site at all. I didn't know there was daily clicks... enough said! The login is confusing to me too - I followed a different link to the main homepage and I was unable to find a login prompt. I am sure I'll pick things up over time and get to know the site so anyone else not sure, keep going, its only costing you time!
  • Great idea Edna - thanks for the hints. I didn't realise it was possible to get Rpoints Cts before! I've been a member of Rpoints for about a year, and have had about £45 worth of points for them, from minimal spends. I don't use them a massive amount, but if I am going to buy something online I usually do a search for the company to see if I can get cash back. They used to give cash back on buy it now purchases on ebay, which was quite handy!

I think they may have eBay back?? It seems so from this thread discussion there?

    ...

Sorry - just realised I can't give you the URL without me being logged in!! Aaargh.

Here's the RP link to eBay:

    http://www.rpoints.com/x/?s=115

I think nearly all the affiliate sites had problems with eBay when they put all their advertising through just one of the affiliate marketing companies a while back (Commission Junction.) Perhaps it is all resolving itself now.
