    - John, for around the same price as you pay for 500 x 100 gsm, you can get 2500 x 80 gsm. If you re not doing colour or photo what's the point, paper is paper !

Hmmm. Bit of an exaggeration, I'd say - but submitting your CV on 100 gsm paper gives a better impression than using the see-through Tesco value stuff...

    John Gray,

The O/P said ""Been to tesco looking to buy printing paper. There are so many to choose, the cheapest value is £1.99. How do I choose a decent one? Will be using it for general printing. Thanks ""

In a Money Saving Forum - how can paying 5 times more, or getting 5 times less for your money be an "" improvement in quality (and price!)... "" when used for "" general printing ""

    Hi

I use cheapo Tesco/Asda value paper for general printing. For a CV or letter I've got some quality multi-purpose printer paper.
