Will ebay remove neg feedback

I have recently bought 3 items from a seller all a well known brand. When they came they were copies. Now in the past I have been caught out by sellers sending copies, obviously not from this particular seller, but it's made me really cross as ebay seems to be full of scammers these days, present company excepted

So I contacted the seller to say that I didn't think these were genuine and could I have a refund. Seller replied with a snotty email which basically said no.

I really couldn't be bothered with going through paypal and having to prove that these were fakes to get my money back so just thought I'll take the hit and put it down to experience.

I wanted to warn others so they didn't make the same mistake as me so I left the seller neg feedback which said 'I do not believe these are genuine'

Now seller is hounding me to remove the feedback he's even got my phone number from ebay and has started phoning me at home, which I'm not happy about. He's now sent me an email saying that he's reported my for deformation of character as I'm hurting his business.

My question is will ebay remove this feedback or will they let it stand.

Perhaps you should have actually made sure they are fake before you left the feedback.

Well having used this brand for years I'm pretty sure it's not genuine and apart from sending it to the manufacturer and asking there's not a lot else I can do. I think most people can spot a cheap knock off after they've used the real thing.

That's exactly what you're supposed to do.

all ebay will do is remove the comment not the neg. they seem to do this as soon as they get the letter a seller is asked to fill out if they think the feedback is salderous.
