On the note of 'we'... I do hope the bathroom isn't very enclosed if you are planning on using a steam cleaner. I'm a mum to three (not very good shot) boys.... tried using my steamer to clean the downstairs WC and couldn't see a thing for steam! Then I made the mistake of thinking what was probably in the steam as it had been jetting at the back of the loo where their bad aim seems to hit... YUCK!!!!!
Now I stick to stardrops and elbow grease, lol.

PS someone on here told me to use vinegar when cleaning the loo - and it's fab. I flush it then before it fills pour a load of white vinegar into the cistern. When it's refilled I reflush and that means it gets a good coat of vinegar under the rim as well as down the sides. My loo is a lot less stinky thanks to that tip!
