Hi there,
Just looking for anyone's thoughts on what to do!
My son (18) was in glasgow for a night out with friends,he left to go home and catch the last train where he discovered he had left his jacket in the bar with friends.
He had no train ticket and no phone or cash,he explained the problem to the train driver as he could not get home.The train driver told him to board the train and when he arrived at dumbarton the driver asked if everything was ok, my so said he had a bit of a walk but he would manage,but the driver gave him £10 and told him to get a taxi.
My son asked him his name and address to return the cash but the driver said he better not as he did not know the company stance on this and he did not want any trouble at work.
My problem is what to do as i want to return the favour (cash) but i dont want the guy to get in any bother.
He said his name was gerry and he was from mountblow area.
What should i do?

Well, you've already got him into bother if his boss uses MSE and sees your post. I'd remove his name & district if it was me.
Be thankful for his kindness and remember his actions the next time you or your son come across someone needing a favour.0
