MP3 Player Branded or anything will do?

Hi all,

I want to buy MP3 player, but i am not sure if a branded mp3 player has better sound quality or not? please share your experty and experience.

    The more expensive ones are usually better build and sound quality. Best to try a friends. Even the top of the range stuff (iPod et al) come with cheap headphones.

    Buy a decent 512k unit around £40 or a 128k for £25 and spend £10 to £20 on some good headphones, the big enclusres one block out external sounds good for trains, planes.

    Ebuyer, dabs etc are a good supplier of the mp3 players. Ebuyer also does the phones cheaper than richer sounds!

    Finally there are some bargain 3cm CD players that take re-recordable mp3 £15 for a player and 70 for 200m disk!! I got mine (Freecom Beatman) from valuelist.
