Sending tea set to Italy

I've been asked for a price to post a tea set to Italy, I know from here that Italy has a lot of problems with the postal system. I'm a bit concerned about ensuring it would get there in one piece, well in the several pieces it's supposed to be. It's probably only going to go for around £10 but add the p&p if it gets broken a claim could be quite high. I'm talking myself out of it.
Would anyone send something like this?

Personally I would not bother, the combination of a very breakable item & posting to Italy is too much of a nightmare to consider!0

As Greg don't do it. You wouldn't even get insurance to cover it0

Thank you, I had virtually come to that conclusion myself. Seller says no.0
