British Gas Click Energy

I'm with Scottish Power and doing a comparison search throws up a large saving if I move to British Gas Click Energy for both gas and electricity.

Does anyone know if the recent British Gas price rises which apparently only take effect in September are taken into account by the comparison sites or if I am being given soon to be 'out of date' advice based on current prices?

Click Energy prices will not increase in the next round of price increases, but it's only a matter of time before they do!

The next round of price increases after September?

Someone posting to the special E-mail discussion thread (here) claims that they were told by CS at british gas that the price rises affect all of their tariffs.

I looked at a comparison website ( sotrry, forgot which one) and it stated that click energy prices would not increase in September 2006.

I would be inclined to doubt Click prices are set to rise, since Click customers are still recovering from a substantial price rise at the beginning of July. In my experience few people working for british gas even know a tariff called 'Click energy' actually exists. Technically I think I am a Click customer, although nobody has ever been able to confirm this ;).

Still, if there is conflicting information out there...
