Wireless network - WPA Key

I've followed albertross' advice here and got myself a key for my network of 63 ASCII characters.
I have a US Robotics 9108 MaxG ADSL2+ Gateway and I'm using WPA. The string I entered is:
QO(i=Jm;wI_g]IQQH,CUB"*gkd[bEf\ih"I\F8=HsN_ |?26FBq*0zR:_k)dw.<
I programmed this into my router and then into my laptop. I saved it into Notepad so as to avoid the need to retype it.
This worked OK until my router was switched off. On turning it on again the laptop would not connect. On checking the router's settings, the key had been truncated at the 21st character, leaving the key as:
QO(i=Jm;wI_g]IQQH,CUB
I then entered this key into my laptop, and sure enough, it connected and has worked ever since.
How come I can't have the 63 character key stored perminantly?

It's possible it doesn't like the quotation mark, some routers object to "" and '''s (which are used in IT to denote a string) so just swap it for another character. It is the WPA key where you are pasting this, not WEP?
I have informed mr gibson of this issue, but he hasn't fixed it yet. There's another slight glitch on the password generator, sometimes (it's rare) if you click the field on grc.com in a certain place or in a certain way, it put's a space on the end, and make it 64 characters, which won't work, so if you check there are no quotes, and no extra space on the end it should work, the longer the better because the cracking combinations go up exponentially with each extra character.
QO(i=Jm;wI_g]IQQH,CUB"
QO(i=Jm;wI_g]IQQH,CUB@*gkd[bEf\ih0I\F8=HsN_ |?26FBq*0zR:_k)dw.<
should work.
Everyone in Doncaster will now be trying to hack your router now you've posted the key:DEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
