I have never ridden a bike but have a weekend away next week with somone who does so thought it would be a good idea to borrow a bike and go on a ride.As i am not to be trusted on any kind of road I am looking for one that is 100% road free. are there sites I can get this from or does anyone know of one?

Look for the HIGH PEAK TRAIL, it is an old railway line which has been flattened and covered for cyclists, it takes in some beautiful scenery, is perfectly safe to practice falling off and just has cyclists and walkers, plenty of car parks etc0

I hope you don't mind me saying, but if you're going to be by walkers, would you consider having a bell on your bike?
I was nearly sent into the canal last year when somebody riding a bike came up behind me and didn't shout or anything. I sprained my ankle and had to hobble 2 miles back to the car.
Those trails look amazing, very tempting, it must be great in the summerI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
