Cold nights.

The Beeb have warned of cold next week so if you've got tender plants on the go be warned. If you've put them out be prepared.

I was hoping to avoid heating my tunnels but that idea is out of the window now.

I'm in SE and have frost forecast for the next few days. Don't lose the plants you've spent ages growing up :)

Well that's scuppered my plans for this afternoon then - and it's such a lovely sunny day too. I'll maybe do some weeding instead :(

Would it be safe to plant potatoes? I live in Manchester which is forecast heavy rain and snow next week :(:(:( I was going to plant my spuds out tomorrow, in tubs in the back yard. It's very sheltered out there, but maybe I would be better to wait for another couple of weeks? They are chitted and raring to go!

Does anyone have any words of advice on this please?

I was going to unwrap the tree-fern, but that'll keep until after Easter now...
