Are you going to reply Luc or sit on it for a while?
It seems that she's jumped to conclusions on all counts there.
Do you set her straight and try to move on or let her think what she likes?
    ...Linda xx

I have replied but want to speak to her too.

I would like to speak to you on Tuesday as it is by far the better way to resolve these things but want to respond in writing also in case I get too upset to be coherent...

I apologised to M in the taxi on the way home and told her I would have got a taxi alone if necessary.

Your attempts at arranging a lift were very appreciated but I still have some hang ups form the assault and I don't cope with taxis very well in general, less so with strangers.

I had budgetted to travel by train but was persuaded to stay and share a taxi home with M. I certainly didn't have the money to pay to get in somewhere else. I actually have a card with £25 in my bag from the last time my JSA cleared to give to M next time I see her because I know if I offer it to her outright she'll turn me down. I did give the money she lent me for drinks until I got to the cash machine back to her about halfway through the night.

Those are the facts. Take them as you will. I am sorry I have annoyed or upset you in this way.

Can I as why you didn't say anything the Tuesday I was there after the night out?

Look forward to clearing the air on Tuesday.

oh Luc - worra nightmare.... women are just a bunch of !!!!!es sometimes....

for what it's worth, i think people who come together for a common purpose like pnd, or whatever are are only ever transient friendships as for the most part people do move on and leave the reason to stay friends behind...

perfect time to cut the ties and make a new set of friends for the new chapters coming in your life...

bloddy snooty biatch in my opinion is that person tho....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    It wasn't!
I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's her that's started the 'whisperings behind your back.'
Your reply was excellent, if she isn't ok with you on Tuesday then she's not worth bothering with!

Thanks Linda. Hopefully I will get the job, start work and then I won't miss the group so much because it has been a lifeline (almost as good as on here!)
when things were bad and gave me a reason to go out at least once a week.
