A little digging on the companies house website proves that PV Solar and Freeelectricity4u in Scotland are both owned/directed by Douglas Wilkie and Robert Skillen - two of the men behind Aquashield - which was/is one of the most disreputable companies (franchises) in the entire UK.

The insurance policy was only for the deposit and the guarantee wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

I've had 16 panels installed and a sunny boy inverter by PV solar Uk for £10,900. Very impressed with the service and speed of install. I will upload some pictures here shortly

i've had a guy from pv solar uk ltd to give me a quote for a 4kw system consisting of 16 panels made by sanyo and an aurora invertor. Does anyone have an average price to compare?
I was quoted £14350 inclusive and this includes their new home energy device that saves extra energy by connecting to my boiler that regulates the temperature and i can control it from anywhere using my iphone.
Has anyone heard of this sytem as he did show me the hub that they install and the app on his phone?

We had a visit today from a representative of PV Solar UK Ltd. He claimed a GUARANTEED income of over £2000 for an outlay of just under £16000 or a return of 13%. Just seemed to be too good to be true and you know what they say about that !!. Has anyone else had experience of this company.

I too am considering PV solar UK. Rayotech also seem ok and are in consideration.

Where PVSolar lead is this boiler management device they throw in. Really interested to hear from anyone who has had one fitted please?
