Why do people have more than one Bank/Current Account???

    Because they have enough money to distribute into multiple accounts. :D

    Also, most current a/c have some limit (usually ~£2500) after which money in current a/c earns a pittance of interest. So, it does make sense to distribute.

  • My main current account is internet based but I also have a LloydsTSB current account for any occasion when access to a branch is required.
