Why do people have more than one Bank/Current Account???

Also, most current a/c have some limit (usually ~£2500) after which money in current a/c earns a pittance of interest. So, it does make sense to distribute.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

My main current account is internet based but I also have a LloydsTSB current account for any occasion when access to a branch is required.0
