Hiya,
Have two tv's in perfect working order due to upgrade. Don't want to take them to the tip so emailed local council volunteer department to see if they had any ideas. Even volunteered to take them wherever they were needed - heard nothing from them in over three weeks.
Anyone have any ideas who I should approach or shall I just give in and take them to the tip?

Hi, where abouts are you and what size's are the tv's. Maybe another MSE could use them for you.RainbowLiberty0

Why not just put them on freegle/freecycle, people will bite your arm off for them, or if you really want to help a charity some charities have electricals shops (as they have to so a safety check on all electricals).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

Do you have a local furniture recycling project? Try googling that plus your area. Some of the larger charity shops can take them too, if they have someone to check out electrics.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Try your local Volunteer Centre - they may be able to email round their groups to see if anyone wants them.
Also try Womens Aid locally.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0 -
British Heart Foundation have furniture & electrical shops all over the country and offer collection too
