Can't get buildings insurance !

I am more than happy with my solicitor. I am happy with the progress of my house build and prepared if there is a delay that the people buying the house i am in may pull out and i may have to resell. I will not be moving into temporary accomodation under ANY circumstances. I cant get insurance against delay in completion so therefore thereis nothing more that i can do except wait and enjoy watching my house grow.
As in my original posting i wanted a quote for buildings insurance purely to get my mortgage offer sorted, that is all.
as i got my postcode registered i can can now get inurance quotes but only via the phone.
