Black Bamboo has gone green

I have a lovely black bamboo plant which is no longer black. Does anyone know why this would happen? It is growing well and seems happy. It used to be in a pot which it hated but since I have planted it out it has grown wonderfully and looks very healthy, its just not black!
Could it be missing some nutrients or is there no going back now. (Or no going black lol)

I have emailed crocus as well to see what they say as it came from there. The initial instructions say that young plants are green and go black after a few years but it is now about 8 years old!!:A0

Black Bamboo shoots are usually green for the first couple of years and then turn black.. at least thats what it says in my book...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
