selling jewellery

When I was a student aged 16-21 I worked in an independent jewellers, whereby I got really good discounts I was charged wholesale price plus 5% for any jewellery as we were encouraged to buy lots and wear it to show off the products.
Therefore I have a large collection that I would like to sell on. It's all 9K white or yellow gold but most of it hollow so wouldn't sell for much scrap. Think Argos and H Samuel styles.
I haven't worn a lot of the stuff for 4/5 years, as you can appreciate, jewellery you like as a teenager isn't what you like as a mum.
Just wondering where would be best to sell it.

Cant help with the best place to sell it, but if you decide to sell on ebay make sure that you send the item by special delivery (unless you are prepared to cover any necessary refund for lost or damaged items out of your own pocket) as RM will not pay any compensation if you use any of their other services.
Before listing ...Maybe weigh the item to get an idea of its value..you can use the calculator on this site (I believe that selling to these companies though may NOT be recommended)
