What is the cheapest way forward?

I have about 1000 Euros sitting in my Spanish bank account with BBVA, and I want to draw it out before I go on holiday. What is the cheapest way to do this?

The last time I moved money abroad, I paid £20 to complete wire transfer. Is it not cheaper for me to draw it all out from a cash machine and pay the 2.? percent fee from VISA?

Please help!

Thankyou :)

Do you mean draw it out to spend in Spain?

If so, why not get a cash-card (Electron) from BBVA? Then you shouldn't have to pay charges for ATM withdrawals.
  • My mistake--I'm not going to Spain on holiday, I'm going to the Far East. I want to get my money out, but I'm not sure what the cheapest option is.

    Thanks
