A warning to Scottish Power customers who are thinking of changing service provider.
Make sure that you have used the link in an email they send to you to 'opt out' first before you swap or you will receive a £50 cancellation charge (£30 elec & £20 gas). You will be sent an email to opt out before the end of your chosen tarriff. You will receive only the email NOT a letter so please Beware!!
Please don't do what we did and just swap.
If by any chance you have been one of the cancellation charge victims please pm me.
