Free Webcam Software - Can you reccomend

Hi, can anyone reccomend free webcam software, you know the sort that you can do all different things with whilst cam is connected. You get this type of software built into new laptops but l would like a program for my 3-4 yr old laptop and am unsure which programs are save to download.

If you install manycam be aware it also tries to install norton security scan and the ask toolbar. You do have the option to deselect them but it's easy to miss if you just click next quickly.It's my problem, it's my problem
