Car Hire For An 18 Year Old In Ireland?
Going on holiday with my family in Ireland soon. They will be hiring a car.
I would like to be able to drive the car too.
I am 18 with a Full UK license with 1 years NCB & pass plus.
Is there any chance of me being able to drive a hire car, even if I have to pay extra?
Hertz want a minimum age of 30 to drive my car!

Unfortunately gord is right. You need to be at least 21 and even then it would be very expensive. Sorry mate you'll have to wait till 25.0

Just relax and enjoy the scenery as a passenger - at least you can enjoy a drink wherever you go and not have to worry about driving home
