    Hi and welcome

So did you actually write to them or ring them about this?

Personally I would put it all into writing so you receive their correspondence in writing, and if that was the first and final offer, you should write to them and tell them you were not given the opportunity to explain and give further information.

To take this to the FOS you should have a final letter with details with a leaflet of the FOS.

If this was all in writing though and the final offer and they enclosed the leaflet FOS details then you can of course move on to them and enclose the copy of the final letter with the FOS compaints form.

Hope this helps, but again if they did not give you the opportunity to write back I would personally write back to them on this and tell them this, and request they put you back in the position as if PPI was not taken so you should be entitled to the interest as well, plus the 8% interest of what a court would award for being deprived of your money.

It is of course up to you, please keep us posted on this and ask for help anytime.;)
