Selling antique collection only and don't want to risk paypal?

I want to put an antique item on ebay that is very heavy so collection only and possibly worth quite a bit. How does one get around the "must accept paypal" rule for collection only items of value (just in case the buyer claims non receipt etc)?

As far as I know, there is no way around it. Only applies to car section.
You might be able to express your preference for cash in the description, but then the buyer still can pay through Paypal if they choose.0 -
If there is no way around it (which i'm guessing there's not) then get the buyer to sign a form saying that he has recieved the item (make sure the item is described in detail on the form too, along with including the same picture/details/auction number that are on the listing.)
Paypal might not take this into account if the buyer tries to con you, but the small claims court should.
And also, it's less likely that the buyer will try to con you if you get them to sign for the item when they collect. (though its still not a certainty)0
