Fixing evesham nav-cam6400?

My evesham Nav cam 6400 has begun to play up, switching itself on and starting up again, and sometimes not finding a signal for ages, even when taken out of the car.
1) Is it worth trying to get it fixed and if so where? The internet support site given on the box no longer works.
2) If it is not worth having it fixed, can anyone recommend a simple sat nav, that is easy to update and will not cost the earth. I don't need all the bells and whistles!

Thanks. Since there is nothing else with it, it suggests it has been nicked and therefore not worth touching.
