Do you think my memory foam topper......

....would survive if I cut it in half? Or would it just break apart round the cut edge over time? Anyone ever done this?

OH has decided the bed is too soft and that's the cause of his sore back. I on the other hand can't sleep on a hard bed and get pain in my shoulder and hips.

Simplest solution seems to cut the topper in half.

Don't think that would work, the area at the fold would stick up too much.

If it's only foam then it should work, but you might want to tack some velcro to it and the matress to stop it moving about in the night. If OH decides he wants it back as it isn't the topper that is doing his back in.... make him plump for a memory foam bed- best decision of my life to get one of those!
