Ped eggs

My wife has just used her ped egg and it has cut her foot,a sizeable cut.I thought they was safe and didn't even burst balloons.

Did she use it in the way described on the packaging? i.e. in long strokes instead of circular ones?

It was the original ped egg and used properly,watch your feet ladies0

me and my mum use ped eggs and never had any issue with cuts or anything. Does it look like the egg is damaged in anyway which would cause a cut?0
