    Lou,
Sweetheart, that must be so sad and scary and heartbreaking for you hunny. I dont have any helpful ideas but please know that we are all thinking of you. Gosh, it certainly has been a fairly bad year for illness'/accidents/operations hasn't it. I think we (and this is the collective DFW WE) have had enough now, ok? Thankd God very much, we have shown how strong we are-can you go pick on some other people now please??!!!

Bathroom first, or if you're anything like me you won't be faffed when you get back.

Lou - Hugs, do make sure they check the UTI, my friends Nan had this recently and was found wandering the streets in her undies....a dose of antibiotics later and she's right as rain.

Luc - We knew they'd be impressed.....hope tomorrows chat goes well...I've visions of sitting in the "language lab" we had at school trying to pretend to mumble along to the German tape.

Got some turkey mince out to make burgers for tea but it's not defrosted properly so made need to rethink that option for now.

Bun, that was my plan if my mince had been binned....but I've got enough to go with a massive portion of green beans

Lou, I'm so sorry to hear that, hopefully the doctors will find something easy to treat.

Luc, brilliant news, I'm really pleased for you.

I'm happy, I went into town for another of my free Starbucks' and had a mooch round the market and found four little glass jars with lids for £1, so I can keep my coffee in them instead of random mugs, or opened packets that spill everywhere. Also saw a gorgeous lilac corner sofa and reclining chair for £250 in a charity shop, but they wouldn't fit in my room.

And two more malteser bunnies came home with me, ooops.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
