If this applies to you, could you possibly post in here just to say whether or not your 3rd term payment has been blocked?
I think I'm on to something, given that I've seen a lot of people saying T3 is blocked, but I can't really confirm it.
This applies only to SFE assessed students, not LEA's. There's a potential issue that I'm hearing about here, but it's getting some sort of evidence together >.<

For starters if this information has not been put on in a press release by Student Loans you should not really following it up.
Also, gathering and accessing people's accounts could be seen a breach of data protection with inside SLC so might be an idea for you to be offering general advise and not telling people you will fix the problem as they have not contacted the company by letter, phone or via the online secure site.0 -
I'm not planning on accessing accounts, Poolie, nor am I offering to fix a problem for individuals.
However, I've seen a fair few cases of late involving first year current income students having 3rd term payments blocked, and for my own knowledge wanted to find out if maybe there was a connection there. No intention of accessing accounts at all, just a yes or no from people who are affected, or a warning to those who had the CYI assessment to makybe take a look at their payment schedule online.0 -
Thanks Taiko, just wanted to make sure.
Hopefully this is not a problem for many people and just a selected few.0 -
I think there is a problem, but it's a case of getting maybe a few more people to check before I can really query it a bit higher up.
I know it's not affected LA applicants, as I've checked roughly 20 of ours. Desperate to find one of our CYI's with a split contribution to check though.
There's been a few issues, but it's a case of finding out if it's isolated or not.0
