Carnt find program to uninstall help

i tried to put nero on my comp but it says i have a newer version on so wont install but i cant find it
i have looked in uninstall programs its not there
in my c drive in programs there is one version there but how do i uninstall from there do i just delete the file or is there a way to uninstall it

Is there an uninstall exe file in the Nero folder?

If yes, double click on it and follow the prompts.

You can just delete the folder but that will leave other stuff behind in the Registry etc.

You could do that and then run ccleaner registry clean up but I wouldn't really advise that unless you are quite savvy with Windows.

thanks i have deleted the files but it says there is stil a version there somewere
i know i shouldnt ov deleted it but i did
what can i do now thanks.

You've tried add/remove programs right

yes iv tried that there is nothing there for nero

Download Everything and let it find all your computer files. Then type Nero in top bar and delete all files etc .

Edit/Select All/ Right click and Delete

have you tried using the official uninstaller from the nero website?

download it from here:

http://www.nero.com/enu/tools-utilities.html

click on the (nero general clean tool tab)

Try Nero General CleanTool although if Everything did its job there should be nothing to be removed
