When I was a kid, Lord of the Dance was always sung at funerals
Everyone knows 'Give me joy' so bound to get some singing!
'Morning has broken' is an old fav too!
Maybe even 'Jeruslem'?
I love Jerusalem, actually thought of that a couple of days ago. Haven't got round to mentioning it to OH yet
It'd be a good one for the band to play too though 0 -
How about 'I vow to thee my country' sung often at rugby and everyone knows this too!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MG27BKwjaI
I'd love to have this one too but don't think there'll be enough people to sing it to make it sound good enough IYKWIM!!! OH and i love rugby though, OH is always joking with my dad and my aunties and uncles who our boys will play for when they're older as my dad's welsh, lol0 -
It forms a number of football chants...thats my 1st thought, watch out for jokers adding their own words (nb: not suitable for church)0
