Cold Calls

Hi there

Just a query to see if anyone else has had this.

Tonight I had a call from a foreign cold caller. They asked for me, and then whether I had Sky TV, which I was caught off guard and answered. He then said 'Thanks for taking part in our survey. I started to say what survey? i havnt agreed on anything yet, but he abruptly said goodbye before I evenm had chance!

Seems the survey was to check if I had Sky TV or not! Anyone know what this was for and can I track who it was? i could barely here him but he said he was from consumer something or other.

Also I get lots of cold calls, kitchens direct, other foreign call centres trying to get me to do surveys. Normally I say no and hang up straight away but was caught off guard today.

How can I stop these? They always come up withheld and when i've asked before who they are they hang up.

Thanks

Get truecall I did and it stops most of these calls. :)

It might costs £90+ but it lets you in control of who to speak too, most is done automatically

I hope you didn't pay that much!

Lots of places selling it for about £75 including delivery.

    e.g. amazon.co.uk currently sell it for £77.49
telecoms2order currently sell it for £74.26 delivered (but I've never heard of them before, and their website appears to get random error messages)
