I want to buy... my first car!

So, I'm currently saving up to buy my first car.

Where are the best deals to be had for an old clunker that I won't mind scratching up?

get a 206 like me, cheap insurance group, e.g my 1.6 is only grp 5. And only cost around 1200-1800 for a decent one aged from 1999onwards!
I know so much about them now, so if you have any questions feel free to pm me lol

Personally i'd keep saving and get something decent. As a new driver the stress of having to repair an old banger every 5 minutes is an absolute pain in the bum! You might save more money in the long run if you save up a bit more and buy something that's 5 years old or less. A Ford Fiesta/KA is always a good bet. My first two cars were both Fiat Puntos and I had very few problems with them (although I sold my 7 year old car last year to a young male colleague, who has ran it into the ground and has nothing but problems with it now).
