Fed up with Talk Talk

Is anyone else suffering constant phone calls from Talk Talk who are ringing on average 3 times a day ( we have given up answering !)
When I did answer they take ages to connect the call and you think its a silent phone call,
Eventually they talk and ask for my husband (whose name is on the bill) and i have told them he is not in, eventually being as i know they are trying to sell him somthing ( have offered for him to ring them! ) I told them he had gone away for 3 weeks
We had peace for one week and it has started again - Hubby is never in when they ring and it is starting to drive me mad
Any suggestions to save my sanity ...!

I am a Talk Talk customer too. You have probably reached the end of your contract and they want to sign you up for another 18 months! I must say it is worth doing, if only to stop the damned annoying calls!
By signing up for another 18 months, they credited my account with £30!0 -
It's not just TalkTalk but the gist of it is that whoever is calling wants to sell you something. Whether it is a TV Sports package, Domestic Appliance Insurance, faster Broadband does not matter, they want you to pay them more.
My wife had one recently from our gas supplier but they wouldn't talk to her "because of the Data Protection Act."
So, the call eventually comes when I was at home. They wanted to sell me an additional service contract for something.
Me, I don't have that.
Supplier, that is correct, are you interested.
Me, If I don't have it already, you can't have any information about it relating to me on your computer. Therefore it is NOT covered by the Data Protection Act, therefore there is no reason why you couldn't tell my wife what you wanted.
Since you are so rude that you refused to talk to my wife, I will not speak to you about it.
