canceling contents/mortgage insurance

Options
Its been nearly a year since we got our mortgage and took mortgage protection and contents with the mortgage lender.

We have been given some good quotes from another company for both of the above insurances so is it easy to ditch the insurance that we have at the mo to be able to accept these new quotes ive had.

cheers guys

    Yes.
Your mortgage company might charge you up to £25 to change insurers but most new companies will pay this for you to get your business.
Who is your buildings insurance with or was it a typo?
