Travelodge Cancellation

if you have booked a pre-pay £10 room, and dont turn up to use it, can they still charge you a cancellation fee, like they would on the other room tariffs?

ive read all the terms and conditions, and it doesnt mention whether the cancellation rules, only apply to pay on arrival rooms

I dont want to cancel the room, as we might still use it, but wont be able to make that decision until the day, which is obviously outside their cancellation rules.

any ideas?

The £10 is a pre-paid rate and will have already been charged to your bank account or credit card, depending on what card you used to guarantee the booking.
    This is a non-refundable, non-transferable booking.
If you do not stay, you will not get your money back.

There will be no other charge.

    Hope this helps.

I have not turned up for a few £10 bookings and have never had extra charges or had it held against me for future bookings.

We had a £10 room booked and couldn't make the trip. Just didn't turn up. Our card was charged £10 but nothing else.

Flea, that is all that they will charge. You booked a pre-paid room at £10, so they would obviously keep the money, and not refund it to you. You have also in theory paid for the room anyway, so there would be no other charge.
