how can i get gift aid for our charity??

is anyone able to help me with this we are a registerd charity that raises money for our school children for verious things like green houses and trips out ect ect.
we hold about 4-5 fundraisers a year summer fate, xmas fate, fashon shows, bbqs and a disco could we get gift aid for thease events if so how do we go about getting it???

Information about gift aid and how you can receive it can be found on the HMRC website HERE
However you won't be able to get gift aid on anything where money is exchanged for goods or services. It has to be a gift donation. So someone writing a cheque to your charity with no strings attached could Gift Aid it. But they can't gift aid the cost of buying a ticket for an event as thats payment for a service, not a gift.0 -
