28 day car insurance?!?

Hi we are buying a new(er) car on Sat, but are going to sell our current car privatly.
Can anyone recommend a company to insure our current car for a short time, hopefully a month max.
Have tried RAC and Norwich Union but both £130, it's only going to cost me £30 more than that to insure my new car for a year!!

Why not just insure the car you are keeping as normal then add the second car to your own insurance as a temporary additional vehicle - ring your insurer to see how much they charge0

Thanks was going to do that but I have insurance with an internet only company. Have tried to get the answer from the FAQ but couldn't find anything - will look again now....
