Help with new Sky HD install!!?

Got my sky HD installed this morning, but it is saying I have the wrong card in when I try to watch movies or sport?? I rang them up and they said it takes up to 24 hours to work, but I spoke to my sister in law who got HD installed last month and they said they got a new card in the post a few days before?? Did anyone on here have a new card for the HD install?? Please help!

Certainly can take a day to work, though frequently it's less than that. You shouldn't need a card change."...IT'S FRUITY!"0

I got that promotion where they rang me up and offered me it free for a year, an engineer came today to fit it, he didn't mention a new card. Just been about 9 hours now and still can't watch movies or sports! Can't even watch it on the non HD channels.0 -
i can see channel 1, 3, 4 HD and luxe hd, but nothing else!!! arrrrghhhh0

Maybe your SIL was due a new card anyway, we had HD a few weeks ago and in fact had a new card for our old SKY box a couple of weeks before that. No new card needed for the HD. Took a few hours before all channels were there, but worked fine the following day.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I managed to fix it myself, plugged it back into phone line and went into settings to do a first time install and it did a callback and it seems to all be ok now! Thanks people0
