BT Phone Line Hijacked!

Hi,

I need some urgent advice. Premium rate calls have been made on our phone line
and we have not made them?

What can we do as they appear on our bill?

    That sounds like you know who has made them though. If so, down to you.
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    That's "They appear" not "will appear" Can you tell present tense from future tense?

    Is your landline service with BT? Are you certain that no one could have made the calls? There probably isn't a big pile I can do without actually looking at the bill, so if you want drop me an email and I'll see what's going on. My email address is registered against my profile.
