My mum just turned up on my doorstep with 2 bags of groceries for me!
Bless her. She's so kind!
She is going through a lot at the moment too as my step dad had recently found out he has Lymphoma and she is waiting for her second hip replacement.
Im so lucky to have her.
Just wanted to share that :A

Aahhh....my mum is lovely too. She's 70 and a widow, but I had a few problems a couple of weeks ago and she was straight over with flowers, chocolate, a magazine and best of all, one of her shepherds pies :A. I really don't know what I'd do without her love and support.0

She can be your e-mum if you want!:D0 -
That actually made me cry.
My mum was wonderful like that-especially when I had my first baby and she would bring me jars of baby food (this was in my pre-MSE days lol) or a packet of nappies.
She`s been dead for 5 years and I miss her so much.
I`m glad there are others out there like her.
Love your mums.:)0 -

Sorr y for making you cry and so sorry to those of you who have lost your mums.
My dad passed away in December and I was devastated, but I think the passing of my mum would be even harder to deal with. We dont always see eye to eye but she has always been there for me and I am aware that she is not going to be around for ever so I really do try my best to do what I can for her.
My mum is very protective of me, I think this is because she lost her mother and sister at a very early age (she was only 14, both died of cancer). So even when she is being a bit over protective, I just remind myself why, and take a deep breath and smile.0
