Woolworths Grays - Clearance Outlet

Hi, I work at woolworths grays and since last week we have been a clearance outlet, this means that all other stores are sending their residual stock to our store to be sold at silly prices. There are only a few of these stores in the uk and we are the only one in essex.

Examples of bargins are;

3 peice foot spa was £22 now £11 (something like that anyway)
7ft christmas tree, something silly like £10 - £15

anyway theres loads of games and other bargins so I would much recomend if you live in the area to come and visit us.

Just a note that there will constantly be new items coming in so you never know what might be out next

    The trouble with Woolworths is that you have to be very careful , their pricing policy deliberateluy misleads, everything is half price or 25% off, but when you compare with other shops they are inevitably dearer or at best the same price. I am surprised that they havent gone under yet

    this is the trouble with most retailers try going to pc world and buying a laptop from pc world was 999.99 now 499.99 was probably 999.99 for 1 day - all retailers do it - what shops are you comparing with

    there is a clearance outlet in lancaster as well - most of it is not bargains i admit (i.e electrical etc) but clothes for kids and xmas lines are very cheap

    A search on this forum turns up a clearance stores in Beckton (London I think), Edinburgh, half of Sheffield 'Big W' and now Grays (Essex I think). Also a 'clearance floor' in Scunthorpe.

    As I was walking past the other day, there was a notice in the window in Woolworths in Wood Green (North London) saying that it was a clearance outlet.
