Plum trees and Wasps

Hi all i need help.
My plum tree fruited for the first time last year and the were wonderful
fruits but after harvesting a few to eat the bloody wasps found them and ruined the lot:mad::mad::mad:
i couldent get near the tree for them i planted the tree in retrospect in the wrong place and carnt get to net it is there another way to keep the blighters off ?:(

    No, if you want wasps plant plums

    You could try picking them earlier, but honestly once ripe the wasps will move in
